Day 1 - Arkadelphia

The Journey Begins

Location: Akadelphia, Arkansas

      Excitement is building for our upcoming trip, but what would an epic journey be without obstacles? One such obstacle being in the form of hotel reservations. After successfully booking a relatively cheap hotel room mildly away from the ghetto and feeling incredibly self-sufficient, I realized I booked a great room...for next weekend. Of course, there is a no-cancellation policy, so I now have a lovely room for next weekend that I will not be staying in. For once, Sarah was the calm one as I made an angry call to my father and threw papers off the desk. Desmond just laughed and exclaimed, "Only you, would book a hotel room for the wrong date."  Obviously, I should not be in charge of lodgings. 
     Fortunately, Sarah took care of reserving another room for the correct date. The alarm is set for 5:00 am, and the road trip begins tomorrow!
